New creations by new & current artists.

Sue Helmken has expanded from showing her woven items to showing shibori & eco dyed silk scarfs. Carolyn Glazener's blankets are fluffy and warm but now we have her bamboo scarves, too. Alan Leland has increased his selection of turned wood items to include rolling pins, candles sticks, and seam rippers. Today we have the pleasure of offering the work of Andrew McCarn. His wooden utensils are beautiful and functional. And, many of the gallery artists are offering items specifically for the holidays.

Halloween in Downtown Apex

What a treat !!! Witches & trick or treaters swarmed Salem Street this weekend. Friday night the businesses in Downtown Apex hosted Witches with special promotions for anyone wearing a witches hat. At Cocoon Gallery we offered a raffle of many of the special creations by our artists. With a raffle every hour, we had a lot of excited witches. On Saturday, over 1000 little trick or treaters filled the streets enjoying candy, moon bounces, and a flash mob performing to thriller.
