About Cocoon Gallery

Opening in April of 2017, owner Cynthia Mollenkopf has created a gallery of locally imagined and locally crafted, high quality, functional artwork featuring 70+ North Carolina artisans. Mediums include Ceramics, Wood, Jewelry, Glass, Textiles, Metal, Music, & Books. Throughout the year, there are opportunities to meet artists, authors, musicians, see demonstrations, take classes, and experience other in-house and community special events.

Located in Historic Downtown Apex, NC., Cocoon Gallery is part of a thriving community of retail, restaurant, and service businesses that make Apex a wonderful location for the local community, guests, and visitors to shop, stroll & dine.  Apex is home to festivals, a community art center, farmers market and more.
